Almost one year to the day since Wych-Malbank Rotary Club formed, members celebrated by hosting their Music Extravaganza during the Nantwich’s Food Festival Weekend.
Held in St Mary’s Church in Nantwich, over 200 people enjoyed an amazing night of music and singing from local groups including the Co-operative Wind Band, Nantwich Young Voices, Nantwich Youth Choir, and Nantwich Voices plus a special performance from Rotary member Chantelle Apilats.
Over the course of two hours, the audience waved flags and sang along to music from Frank Sinatra to Queen, Nina Simone to The Greatest Showman, finishing off with a rousing finale “Last Night of the Proms” style!
With over £1500 raised for the Wingate Centre, Railway Children and Love Music Trust, the evening was declared a huge success with next year’s date of Saturday 5th September 2020 already in the diary!
